> Suman Rao crowned Miss India 2019
Suman Rao from Rajasthan won Miss India 2019 held at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Stadium in Mumbai. She was crowned by her predecessor Miss India 2018 Anukreethy Vas and became 56th Miss India.
> IIMTF's second edition took place in Kolkata to promote business and trade
The second edition of India International Mega Trade Fair was inaugurated at Bidhannagar city in Kolkata to promote business and trade around the region as well as to encourage joint ventures and investment in the country.
> Operation Sunrise 2 in northeast India
The armies of India and Myanmar carried out a 3 week-long coordinated operation in Nagaland, Assam, and Manipur to bust terror camps. This was the second edition of Operation Sunrise.
> Rashtriya Siksha Aayog to be set up under PM Modi
Rashtriya Siksha Aayog has been proposed to set up under the chairmanship of PM Modi to protect the Indian languages which are on the verge of extinction by the member of draft New Education Policy Professor M K Sridhar.
> Silver in Archery World Championship
The trio of Tarundeep Rai, Atanu Das, and Pravin Jadhav was able to secure a Silver medal in AWC 2019 in the Netherlands. The competition was held at Den Bosch in the Netherlands and Jyothi Surekha Vennam won two bronze medals in the compound women's section of AWC.
