> India's GDP to grow at 6% in April-June: FICCI
India's economy will grow at a median rate of 6% during the first quarter of the financial year ended 30 June, as per the FICCI report. It pegged the annual median GDP growth forecast for 2019-20 at 6.9%.
> RBI to transfer Rs 1.76 lakh crore as dividend
RBI has decided to transfer 1.76 lakh crore rupees as dividends and surplus reserves to the government. It includes over Rs 1,23,000 crore of surplus for the year 2018-19 and 52,637 crore rupees of excess provisions identified as per the revised Economic Capital Framework.

Housing financier DHFL has appointed KK Mankeshwar and Co as its statutory auditor after the resignation of auditors Deloitte Haskins and Sells and Chaturvedi and Shah in July. As per a BSE filing, the appointment of the few auditors comes into effect from 26 August.

United States approved the USD 3.3 billion sales of anti-ballistic missiles to Japan. Japan will buy up to 73 of the Raytheon-made SM-3 Block IIA missiles, which are designed to be fired by the shipboard Aegis system to intercept incoming ballistic missiles.
