> Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Ex[ress set to be the first train to be run by private operators
The Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express will be the first train to be operated by private players, indicating that the Railways is going ahead with its 100-day agenda of handing over operations of two of its trains to the private sector, despite protests from unions. The custody of the trains will be given to the IRCTC.

> Government aims to raise Rs. 15,000 crore by cutting stakes in 18 PSUs to 75%
The Indian government will raise up to 150 billion rupees by reducing its stake in 18 state firms to 75% as it looks to boost revenues and rein in the fiscal deficit. Nirmala Sitharaman, the finance minister of India, set a target of 1.05 trillion rupees from the sale of stakes in state-run companies.

> Headfone raises $750K seed funding from Fosun RZ capital
Bengaluru-based social audio platform Headfone run by Diacoustic Labs Pvt Ltd has raised $750K in seed funding from Fosun RZ Capital. Headfone was founded by ex-facebook employees Pratham Khandelwal and Yogesh Sharma.

>Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President of India, releases a book titled 'Vivekadeepini' in ten languages
The book is on the principles of spiritual leaders like Adi Shankaracharya and Swami Vivekananda and is written by Adi Shankaracharya.

> CapitaLand completes $8 billion acquisition of Ascendas-Singbridge
CapitaLand Ltd has completed the purchase of Temasek Holdings-owned Ascendas-Singbridge's stakes in two of its subsidiaries.

> LinkedIn names Ashutosh Gupta as country manager for India
The Microsoft-owned social networking site for professionals, LinkedIn, appointed Ashutosh Gupta as the new country manager for India operations. He has about two decades of experience in IT and Software Services.

> RBI finalizes 'Utkarsh 2022'
RBI finalized a three-year roadmap to improve regulation and supervision, among other functions of the central bank. Utkarsh 2022 is in line with the global central banks' plan to strengthen the regulatory and supervisory mechanism.

> Nalin Shinghal appointed as BHEL CMD
According to BHEL, Nalin Singhal has been appointed as its CMD. Prior to this, he was the CMD of Central Electronics Limited.

The Haryana government announced the launch of 'Meri Fasal Mera Byora' portal whereby farmers can avail the benefits of several directly after uploading their crop-related details.

> Mexico beats the US to lift 8th Gold Cup
Mexico's men's soccer team have won their record eighth Gold Cup by defeating the US in the final. CONCACAF Gold Cup was held in the US.

> Rahul Dravid appointed as Head of Cricket at NCA
Former India captain Rahul Dravid was appointed as Head of Cricket at the NCA. Dravid will oversee all cricket related activities at NCA and will be involved in mentoring, coaching, training and motivating players, coaches and support staff at the NCA.

> S. Mirabai Chanu totaled 191kg to claim the women's 49kg title in the Commonwealth weightlifting championships
