Fertilizer Subsidy allocation has seen a hike of around 10,000 crore rupees in the Union Budget. The allocation has been increased from 70,090 crore rupees in 2018-19 to 79,996 crore rupees in 2019-20.
> Haj app introduced in Saudi Arabia
Indian Haj mission in Saudi Arabia adopted digital technology by introducing the Haj app. Indian diplomats in Saudi Arabia are trying to form a bridge with the pilgrims to facilitate hassle-free services.

Jammu Kashmir government has approved Aadhar-linked payment mode for disbursal of pension to beneficiaries under various central and state-sponsored schemes in order to ensure transparency and avoid delays in disbursement of pension.
> French lawmakers approve 3 % tax on online giants
French parliament approved a small, pioneering tax on internet giants like Google, Amazon, and Facebook and hopes that other countries will follow the suit. The bill foresees a 3% tax on the French revenues of digital companies with a revenue of 750 mn+ Euros.
