> HDFC to buy 51.2% in Apollo Munich Health for Rs. 1,347 crore
Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) announced that it would be acquiring a 51.2% stake in Apollo Munich Health Insurance and would be later merging it with its general insurance arm HDFC Ergo.

Author Amish Tripathi has been named the director of Nehru Centre in London, which is under the Indian Council of Cultural Relations. Nehru Centre was founded in 1992 to promote cultural exchange between India and the United Kingdom.

Indian Navy launched operation Sankalp in the Gulf of Oman to re-assure Indian Flagged Vessels operating/ transiting through the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman following the maritime security incidents in the region. INS Chennai and INS Sunaynahave deployed in the Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf to undertake Maritime Security operations.
